A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MUSICAL GHOST STORY finished its first draft in 2007, after many songs had been workshopped in NYC with different performers and in different capacities. The entire piece was then workshopped in Southern NH, culminating in its first private staged reading at the Stockbridge Theatre, featuring a mixture of local and guest talent, Equity & non-Equity. The Reading was examined & positively critiqued by Mark Schoenfeld, Writer / Composer of Broadway's BROOKLYN.

Since then, the piece has performed an abbreviated reading as part of the Page to Stage New Works program and several songs were borrowed for the Palace Theatre's own adaptation of the traditional story, both in Southern NH. The piece then received its premiere production in November of 2010 in Concord, NH, produced by the Concord Players at the Concord City Audi.  The production was one of the most financially & artistically successful performances the Players had seen in several years.
